Stern Jurassic Park Rulesheet

T-Rex modes are always played in this order:

  • Feed T-Rex will always be the first to be played at the start of the game.
  • The three other T-Rex modes (Chase, Rampage, Encounter) are available afterwards. Shots to the truck that cause it to turn fully will change the lit mode from Chase, to Rampage, to Encounter, and then back to Chase again.
  • Museum Mayhem is not in the current code but this is the wizard mode for playing all three T-Rex modes.
  • After Museum Mayhem, all further shots to the truck to spell T-REX will qualify Feed T-Rex. No other modes will be available.

Oh man, completing a paddock with a single shot is the best thing ever. I used that at the very start of the T-Rex Paddock the other day and it’s so freaking satisfying.

How do you do that? Smart missile?

Yes, bringing a super supply drop into chaos mb then nailing the smart missle with super supply drop as the award during the mb with a 2X stack going is both lucrative and satisfying.

Sorry, my comment wasn’t about scrolling during multiball, it was about adding time to a selection process if it’s actively being used. Does the fact that it can happen during multiball serve as a reason that you couldn’t add a little time if the player is actively selecting?

Since the button doesn’t do anything else during normal gameplay, it would be nice if the smart missile award appeared somewhere on the display as soon as it was qualified so you could select your desired award at your leisure before even starting the countdown.

Does it? Didn’t Keith say hit the button whenever you see the goat and there might be a surprise? Or was he just joking?

Does anyone have strategy for Pteranadon Attack? I havent ever paid attention to it

I think that’s actually the opposite of the strategy, you want to just shoot spinner and pops and avoid the ramp until after you’ve completed your first fossil set

Yeah, once Pteranadon is running, you’ll generally want to avoid the right ramp until you have a juicy multiplier going (remember that your multiplier carries over to the next Pteranadon even if you run out of time!). Indeed, the first fossil column adds 10x to the multiplier so you’ll almost always want to wait for that before cashing. One thing to remember though is that the base value does reset when the mode times out, so even if your multiplier is high you’ll want to rip the spinner a couple times before cashing.

My best Pteranadon cash so far was something like ~170M via a 28x multiplier, but you could definitely do a lot better (I chickened out and cashed with a pretty low base value~).

I saw @Steveo get a 328m cash out today, but he’d have to tell you the exact circumstances.

Just started league finals and JP will no longer start a 4 player game. Have rebooted multiple times and added plenty of credits. Is there a setting for max players per game?

Yes there is but not sure why anyone would set that

Not sure how I got it, think it was after a Chaos MB

I just found out that exists and changed mine to one. Toddler fingers!

The kerning on that Pteranodon score screen really bugs me (trigger reason: I used to do commercial signage layouts back in the day…)

Nice cash-in BTW

A small child who likes pushing random buttons might be the original reason for the feature. It’s the only useful scenario I can think of.

Trade shows is another, lol.

Maybe for qualifying to prevent scorekeepers and/or players from accidentally starting multiplayer games? You could change it to two for head-to-head rounds. Not necessary, but nice to have.
