YEGPIN: 2022 Pinball and Arcade Expo - July 21 - 24, 2022

Clocks turn on Saturday going into Sunday.

If it’s 10pm Edmonton on March 13, here’s times in various time zones: Time Zone Converter – Time Difference Calculator

If you are interested in seeing all of the registered participants and the current prize pools for each of the tournament at YEGPIN 2022 they are now up. We will be updating these once a week until online ticket sales end on June 1, 2022.

If you have not registered yet, you are in luck are still lots of tickets available for each tournament with the announcement of the expansion of the Pro Pinball tournament. Nice to be able to have room for 300 competitors in our Stern Circuit event if needed.

Lots of great players attending from all over the world, this will indeed be an international event we look forward to seeing you all soon.

Do you have the updated Sunday schedule figured out yet? Just wondering for planning travel arrangements.

Schedule is completed but the schedule graphic is not updated. Having trouble updating it but will try to get that done by this weekend. Bottom line the Pro Pinball Championship goes from 4:00pm - 10pm on Sunday and there is qualifying in the morning up and to the finals for those that were concerned about not enough qualification time.

EDIT: Got it done, let me know if there are any issues.

Will Day 1 scores carry over to Day 2 like Pinburgh?

Just like Pinburgh, only for A division.

Pinburgh only reset Division D scores.

Ah yes, and of course this isn’t addressed in the rules, so I forget.

Between what me and Karl remember Pinburgh did not reset the divisions until D division came out so we he will program DTM to not to reset whether we have two (200 or less competitors) or three divisions (200 - 300).

Hope that answers the question, no reset, all scores will carryover in each division.

*E

In every Pinburgh, 2011-19, the lowest division reset, whether it was C, D, or E.

Only 88 days to go!!! Website has been updated again with all of the participants.

Should be another machine update this week as well still collecting more machines to try to pack the place.

Up to 171 participants for the showcase YEGPIN Match Play Championship (Pinburgh Match Play format ) going to be another awesome weekend a number of top players coming from all over to help support the event.

We will be cutting off online sales on June 1, so if you are on the fence you got plenty of time to register, so nice to have a capacity of 300 for this event so everyone who wants to play can!!!

Lots of announcements will be posted over our Facebook page over the next weeks for promotion and giving you a chance to see all of the goodness this show will have.

My flights got all messed up coming up for the event. Is there anyone driving from Calgary to the event Wednesday evening that I could catch a ride with? I will arrive at YYC around 4:45 and then have to go through customs. This is Robert Byers.

I am sure that there is someone that could help you out locally. If you haven’t had any uptake on your posts let me know and I can reach out to locals to see if you can hitch a ride.

Take care,

…Derek

@diehardpinball I emailed the info address, but have not heard back. I need to cancel for family reasons. I can’t find any info on how.

Given today is the last day for getting any money back, it would be good to hear back

I didn’t see an email come through our account at all for this. Either way I have your request here and will make sure it gets processed. Email will be forthcoming.

Thanks Derek. I appreciate it.

Due to a few more people requesting for registration for the YEGPIN Match Play Championship we have decided to keep this open till July 15, 2022 or until we sellout.

The YEGPIN Match Play Championship is now locked and capped at 192 players, there are only 16 tickets remaining. The banks have been reduced to from 28 banks to 20 banks (bank of 4 machines) and they are now listed on the website.

The banks can be viewed here:

https://www.yegpin.com/pinball-machines/

All of the other machines that were reserved for tournament play will be transferred to the free play area (Arena 1) which means the free play area will be jam packed with over 150 machines alone!!!

We have the strongest field we have ever had at the tournament, all of the tournament participants have been updated along with their tentative division restriction. Having this many participants and with the strength of the field means the tournament is going to be loaded with WPPR (World Player Pinball Rankings) for those seeking those points.

The YEGPIN Match Play Championship is going to be one of the largest pinball tournaments ever held in Canada.

The last of the tournament tickets can be purchased at:

Is the pinball pro championships price $50 or $40/card? The link to the detailed rules say $40 but it also links to a document that says 2020 rules.

For you @timballs, why don’t we call it an even $60. Don’t worry though, that’s in Canadian Dollars!

But to actually answer your question, I was charged $50 for my first entry. So I assume additional ones would be that price too.
