but Volley, Sky Jump, Mars Trek, Jumping Jack and Prospector would also be high on my list. “Most overused EM” award goes to Wizard.

Actually I was going to say Volley as most overused

lol, before clicking into the thread I was thinking of those!

Those segasa games are so satisfying.

Mars Trek
Fireball
Bow & Arrow
Bazaar
Nip-It

Honorable mention
4 Million BC

(I have a thing for zipper flippers)

Sky Jump
Ice-Revue (playing this in a tournament a few times finally made me go out and buy one)
Wizard (yeah, it’s always there, but for good reason)
Aztec

I’ll stop at 4 because the fifth one is always the last one I did well on.

I haven’t gotten to play too many in tournament, but I have enjoyed:

Jungle queen
Fast draw/quick draw
Aztec
Grand Prix
Old Chicago

My only experience with this was at pinburgh last year, waiting a really long time for the group of A players to finish. That game really needs another open flippers switch. I love the game and love flipper-zippers too, but I hope to never see it in a tournament again.

That’s what’s so great about it. Watching the great control of zipping up, double flipper timing to the left shot that kicks back up to gator. Catch with the gator and get control on the zippers flippers and repeat. It’s fun watching people get that dialed in. The outlanes are gaping holes o. This so its not that bad;)

In seriousness,

prospector, knockout, hot tip, el dorado, and surfer

edit: throw in fireball instead of el dorado or surfer

All the different flavors of El Dorado get used plenty. Who here hasn’t played the Canada Dry at the PHOF? I remember one year at CAX someone brought a Gold Strike with casters (wheels) instead of levelers on the legs. Because the casters were so corroded, they didn’t turn much, so we used it. Don’t think it made it through the weekend.

Second Bow & Arrow.

Would anyone’s top 5 EM change if it wasn’t a tournament? I think I’d still go with

Hot Tip em
Mars Trek
Grand Prix
Argosy
Target Pool
