I’ve had this too. You’ll still get the DJP if you make it, but there are no animations at all. It seems to happen if you shoot the building before the game can catch up all the animations of beating the battle, getting a DJP multiplier, etc.

If I have Heat Ray and start jets while I’m in a rage combo, will Heat Ray spot me the current rage shot?

It saddens me to report, that after weeks of trying to collect all the city combos, that the achievement does not work (at least on the pro).

Bummer! I’ve kind of stopped trying the harder ones until it’s been confirmed they all work. Sucks big time.

Aren’t some of the combos premium exclusive? Related to building position

8 combos on pro - 12 on prem/LE

They are, but the achievement is deliberately (?) vague in saying 'all combos un each city ’ so could apply to both Pro (8 combos) or Prem (12 combos)

Modest instant info ideas/recommendations/requests:

  • progress toward monster monitor objectives (when mecha gets to the “shoot targets to take down shields stage” its animation permanently takes over the main screen so, as far as I can tell, there’s no way to see the usual city scape which displays monitor progress status)

  • number of tilt warnings used or remaining (I typically have game audio down when playing and sometimes miss warnings).

Yeah, I know right now if you get to the status screens you can see the bridge % and how many tanks you need, but they don’t have the powerline info listed. They could add another screen for the powerline info or to prevent having too many status/info screens, they could combine all three of those statuses on one screen when you go through the status info so you can still get that info when Mechagodzilla takes over the main screen.

Good point. Some info is in there. Kaiju battle status would also be helpful.

I have an idea for how to implement this. Above each player’s score (when the player is up - not otherwise), have the four Monster Monitor inserts with info near them:

  • Kaiju Battle - Tells you which ramps you have left to shoot to light it, or to shoot the scoop if available
  • Tesla Strike - Number of Powerline targets remaining to start it & current percentage
  • Bridge Attack - Switch hits needed to light the captive ball, captive ball hits needed, & current percentage
  • Tank Attack - How many tanks are left to destroy to light it & current percentage

This insert display can alternate (every 10 seconds?) with the current value and multiplier of the Carnage Bonus. My one problem with this format is that it could seem too cramped, but knowing the talents of the Stern display team I’m sure they can make this info easily accessible and even improve on my ideas.

Would also be nice to have the current percentages listed on the “city” display under each corresponding symbol, and the Carnage Bonus value / multiplier listed somewhere so you have an indicator of your progress.

Can we have a carnage bonus wasted shame screen if you drain with it over a certain amount? I think that would be glorious.
