Back before tickets went on sale for Pinburgh, I booked a suite at the Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh-Downtown, which is less than a third of a mile to the conference centre. It has free parking, free hot breakfast, free wifi, and lots of space. My friends and I stayed there last year and planned to do so again this year, but plans changed. So now I’m offering it up to the community before I cancel the reservation.

Beds: 2 Queen beds and a pullout couch
Other amenities: This suite also has a wet bar complete with refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The hotel has a fitness room and a pool.
It’s best suited for a group, which also helps defer the cost. We comfortably had four people in the room last year.
There’s no fee for cancelling, but I’d rather help someone in the community out, if possible.
