I looked at the rule sheet and didn’t see Carnage info was under the Info for Annihilation bonus.
Yeah. Lots of stuff. I do a word search and it helps me find stuff I’m looking for.
I’m honestly not sure why we have two threads.
I started this thread as a catch-all for discussion of the game that isn’t directly tied to the rules, like general opinions or whatever else people would like to talk about.
I can’t say I agree. I feel like having an avenue for talking about the game more broadly - in a way that would seem off-topic for a thread specifically about the game’s rules - is a good thing.
I dunno I feel like that’s what pinside is for
I think it’s great to talk about the game more broadly. Just saying that broad discussion can happen on the rulesheet thread.
A lot of the general discussion I’ve seen here is about the game. And much of it regarding rules, game features, etc.
Why can’t all game discussion be in the rulesheet thread? I don’t remember those ever getting cluttered. I don’t mind general game discussion in that those threads and I’ve never seen anyone else dislike it either. I say it’s no big deal.
Times sure have changed. In the old days, before streaming, wikified rulesheets and manufacturers published rules early, it took several threads on RGP like this one to get anywhere near enough info to write a rulesheet. Now, two threads is too many?
If the game is worthy, multiple threads is fine IMO. GZ is worthy.
Admittedly I’ve just reverted to using discord for in depth rules or tournament strategy/tactics discussion at this point and use tiltforums to fill any potential gaps.
Same. And if I notice any inconsistency between talk there and the wiki, I make sure to get it updated.
Not sure where I should post this but wanted to put in a request for the Stern Godzilla OST, there are a ton of tracks I love in this game (Monster Rampage theme in particular) and I haven’t been able to find them anywhere online. There’s a DJ mixer in the settings, I know that much.
Stern has used “production music” in some recent games. Godzilla tunes could be sitting out on the web in some stock library. I wonder if Shazam recognizes them.
I think Keith has mentioned the name of the sound designer. Anyone remember it? EDIT: looks like Jerry Thompson, according to the game page on that other pin site.
And none of Jerry Thompson’s work has been posted online…
