nice poster, GL!

Saturday morning update, got 2 more RSVP’s. So that now puts us at 40 players. Getting close to maxing out the basement.

Labor Day update. 2 dropped out over the weekend (non-pinheads) who have other commitments now. We did gain another player from PA. Current RSVP total is 39.

The count down begins, 15 days away!!! 2 more RSVP’s, so we are up to 41. Some important reminders for everyone.

  1. Event is BYOB (bring your own beverages/coolers/ice). We will have some bottled water onsite, but we will not have any other beverages available (adult included).

  2. Event is NOT on location, but instead in the basement of @wmspin. It’s definitely going to be tight and congested at times so please come prepared for that. We will have bar stool seating for about 10-12 people, then figure another 12-15 people playing at a given time. We do have a spare “home theater” room that will probably have 2 pins setup in there along with additional seating and room for attendees.

  3. Refreshments will be provided. We will NOT be providing lunch or dinner. Several local places do deliver should anyone want to place a food order. Refreshments will include, dips, chips, popcorn, cupcakes, possibly chili, and pizza(all based off of the $5 received from each entry).

  4. Bring single dollar bills if you want to participate in any of the “side tournaments”. Safe Cracker will not be part of the main tournament but will be setup on “token play” for $1. Highest score at the end of the day will take the pot. We will also have one game setup as “hidden flipper”, again $1 to play, and highest score at the end of the day will take the pot.

  5. The basement offers little to zero cell phone reception. We will provide a wifi password for anyone who needs it so that you have reception/coverage.

That’s all I can think of for now!

3 more RSVP’s, so up to 44 people now for the first ever tournament in Delaware!

4 days to go people! We currently have 47 RSVP’s for our inaugural tournament. Pretty impressive considering we are holding the tournament in Delaware. We have also been graced with the appearance of the #12 player in the world!

Wow! I do believe the First State Flip Off was a flipping success! We had 39 people show up to play. Again, thank you to each and every one of you who made the trip down to southern Delaware to participate in our tournament. Without you we don’t have a tournament. I will do another write up tomorrow with a little more details and post some pictures from the event. Congratulations to all the winners!
