There are a bunch of unused callouts in the Stern Star Trek ROM, including the names of 13 different planets. Perhaps there was some sort of “travel” feature (a la World Cup?) in the works at some point…?

I seem to recall these planet callouts being integrated into Five Year Mission, where each set of shots gets you to a different planet.

Well, never mind what I said about the unused Godzilla track, because it turns out that it made it into the game as one of the selectable tracks during Godzilla Multiball (under the title “Minilla Rampage”). There are also five other tracks that weren’t otherwise used in the game, including the opening theme to the original 1954 film.

The Walking Dead’s ROM had some animations cut in V1.24 per AMC’s request–specifically animals from the Crossbow mode, and walker kills using a trident, lawnmower, and chainsaw attached to a stump. This is mentioned in the README file. You can still see them in Pinball Browser.
