Bat City Open - local transportation?

So how does one get around town (like from bus station to hotel to tournament) now that Uber/Lyft are no longer available?

I plan on using Get Me for my next ride in Austin, but I wasn’t an incredibly frequent user of Uber, so not sure when that will be. Traditional cabs are also available, and while not preferable, will get you between places at a higher cost. Yellow Cab has an app, but I can’t vouch for it.

Capmetro “premium” route 100 goes to/from downtown and the airport every half hour: http://www.capmetro.org/current_schedules/pdf/100.pdf

Super shuttle is something like $20 for pick up and drop off anywhere in Austin to/from the airport, schedule it ahead of time. Downtown is also one of the easiest places to get via bus from the airport, and it’s cheap. Where are you staying?

There will probably be a few more new-in-market ridesharing companies available by the time you get here. Fare and GetMe are the two I’m aware of right now.

Anyone interested in sharing a room? I love Austin and am looking forward to this later this month!

For anyone interested in the hotel block that had been reserved for Bat City Open, tomorrow is the last day to get the group rate: A limited block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Courtyard Marriot for $159/night (normally $245). The Courtyard Marriott is located within walking distance of Buffalo Billiards.

Pre-register to let us know you’re coming, and to get the link for the hotel reservation block group rate.
