The article makes a lot of sense. I like that these venues are predicted to continue being popular. Really like the idea that Millennials and younger prefer the experience over the ‘thing’.
The way it’s happening may be new, but it’s not an entirely new thing. When I first learned how to play (long before social media was a thing), I only played with friends on location and only for fun. That was (and still is) my favorite way to play. Friends trying to crush the machine, not each other. We were kind of competing,
everyone wanted the GC score, but more just killing time and hanging out with friends.
