The lavish Delaware Pinball Collective presents, the 2024 Delaware Pinball Open being held from September 11th to September 14th! This will be our first ever card format and the event will be certified! 20 hours of unlimited qualifying spread across 4 days so you don’t have to live at the Collective.During qualifying hours, players may purchase as many tickets (cards) as they would like to try and qualify for the finals. Each card will consist of 5 different games from a bank of games made available that will contain 14 games. A final game list will be posted closer to the event start date.

Top 24 will make “A” finals on Saturday (same day qualifying ends). We will also have a “B” division for players placing 25th through 32nd.

Unable To Leave The Event - This is an unlimited CARD qualifying tournament. Play at your own pace. Come and go as you please! You don’t need to live here for this event!

Real Estate - No problem! We are tucked into an industrial park and we have 7 restaurants located within a 5 minute walk! We have a large TAX FREE shopping mall located less than 10 minutes away.

Amenities - We are called the Lavish! We have carpeted floors, plenty of seating, a VIP lounge area, 4 indoor bathrooms, and the list goes on and on!

Matchplay Format - Nope. This will be like the old school PAPA Card format. 14 games to choose from. Play any of the 5 games to complete your card. With 4 days of qualifying, queues will be short!

Card/Ticket Fee: Each card will be $10, or 3 cards for $25. No unused or incomplete tickets will be refunded. Unlimited entries can be purchased.
**** BONUS OPPORTUNITY - BUILD YOUR OWN BANK ****
Registered players for the event now have the option to help curate the bank to be used during the event with a $50 donation made to the Delaware Pinball Collective. Simply donate $50 to the DPC and you get to select any game from the list below to be locked in for the tournament bank. We are capping the number of donations at 10, which means if 10 games are donated to the bank, the DPC tournament committee will select the final 4 games to include in the bank. Remember, each category of games has a maximum number allowed in the bank. For example, 5 LCD games will not be in the bank regardless of dotation picks or tournament committee picks. All donations must be paid for using PayPal’s Friends and Family method and payment sent to firststateflippers@gmail.com
NOTE #1 - you have to be registered for the tournament in order to donate and select a game.
NOTE #2 - all donations picks will be first come, first served
NOTE #3 - game list will be finalized on 8/31. No donations accepted after this date.
NOTE #4 - the money donated for game selections goes directly to the DPC and not the prize pool
We will be using 14 total games to make up the bank of games for this event (see list of all available games at this time). The 14 games will consist of the following eras:
4 LCD games (maximum number in the bank)
4 DMD games (maximum number in the bank)
4 Solid State games (maximum number in the bank)
2-3 Electro-Mechanical Games (maximum number in the bank)
For example, if 3 EM games are selected, that means one of the categories will only have 3 games of that type. If 2 EM games are selected, that means the other 3 categories will each have 4 games of that type.

Schedule:
Wednesday Qualifying - Doors open at 4:00pm for check in, qualifying starts at 5pm and ends at 10pm.
Thursday Qualifying - Doors open at 4:00pm for check in, qualifying starts at 5pm and ends at 10pm.
Friday Qualifying - Doors open at 4:00pm for check in, qualifying starts at 5pm and ends at 11pm.
Saturday Qualifying - Doors open at 9:00am for check in, qualifying starts at 10am and ends at 2pm.
LUNCH BREAK FROM 2-3PM
Saturday Finals - “A” division finals will start at 3pm. Once all 4 groups in “A” divsion have started, we will then start the finals for the “B” division (approximately 3:30pm)
SATURDAY FINALS CEREMONY - 11pm
NOTE - Volunteer qualifying will be held on Saturday from 9am to 10am.
PRIZES - All players who qualify for either A or B division will receive a cash prize based on the chart below. Trophies and/or medals will be awarded for the top 4 in each division. The actual prize pool will be calculated at the event as entries are purchased and all tournament operating costs such as trophies, IFPA FEES, etc. are deducted.
