We are excited to announce the third annual Starfighters Pinball Festival (SPF24): A Festival of Tournaments!

Two certified, one women’s, and two side tournaments for a fabulous weekend of pinball competition and glory!

The festival of tournaments includes 5 events from Thursday, February 1 - Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Starfighters Arcade in Mesa, AZ

  1. Main certified tournament Friday - Sunday, Feb. 2-4, 104 players maximum. Group matchplay qualifying Friday, A/B division group matchplay Saturday with 24 finalists in A (top 8 bye) and 16 finalists in B in 3-game group elimination on Sunday. $100 per player, registration opens Saturday, September 2, 9am Pacific.
  2. Classics certified (potential for certified plus if 128 rated players participate) tournament Thursday evening - Saturday, Feb. 1 - 3, max 200 players, unlimited qualifying on a bank of 10 classic games, best 7 games count, top 24 in finals Saturday evening. Entries $3 each, 4 for $10 or 10 for $20.
  3. Women’s tournament Friday, Feb. 2, 7 rounds of group matchplay qualifying on main bank followed by a 2 round, 2 games per round finals for the top 8. 80 player max. $10 per player.
  4. Saturday evening Max Match Play tournament, Feb. 3. 12 matches followed by top 16 group elimination finals with one game per round, $15 per player, held concurrently with classics finals. 100 player max.
  5. Sunday Strikes tournament, Sunday, Feb. 4, 5 fair strikes on classics bank, 60 max players. $15 per player, held concurrently with main finals.

Full draft rules will be posted on the website soon and will be marked final in December after IFPA confirms all WPPR rule changes for 2024. www.starfightersarcade.com

Wonderful response for the 2024 SPF event and our quickest sell out so far! Thanks to the wonderful response and number of individuals already on the wait list, the team is working to determine if we can expand the main event to 128. So add yourself to the wait list and you will be contacted if we are either able to expand or cancellations occur.

This was my first trip to Starfighters and I had a great time. Everything ran smoothly, schedule made sense, games were nice, solid rulings, affordable entry, fair payouts, etc. Just very well executed all around.

Well worth the travel for anyone who’s considering it next year!
