Just wanted to write a quick note and see if this is something streaming people are interested in. I’ve been fascinated for a long time with the Classic Tetris streams, they record a CRT and re-generate the pieces and data about gameplay. I was thinking, why not the same with pinball? wouldn’t it be cool to know what % of drains go out the right outlane? Or how many warnings were issued? This is very much pre-alpha, messing around, not ready for primetime (lots of false positives), but I think it is possible and I’m hoping to get it working reliably this year.
The video below shows in the middle left a L/C/R drain % breakdown. It should flash on screen when it thinks it sees a drain.

The way it works is you outline in a video feed / obs virtual camera where the playfield is in that video source, and then draw on that an area that represents the drains.
I guess watch this space? I dunno it probably won’t be as fun as the IFPA app but who knows.
