How do you handle guests that arrive late or if they just want to join a group after the start?
Do you want them to affect the results? Then add them to matchplay and they will be involved in the next round.
If you don’t want them to affect results, add them to a less than 4 player group, and ignore their score when entering the results of that round.
It’s on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes they miss the round(s) that started before they arrived, sometimes the game hasn’t started yet and we can get them into a three player group.
That’s at the Pinballz events. I don’t do guests/WPPR only at the Buffalo Billiards monthlies. Even I pay the $10, knowing I’ll drop out if I make finals because it takes me too long to run finals and get the prizes straight.
