Where did I get my rule from? I thought people had to play half to be counted?
That’s only part of the rule. I pasted the rest of the verbiage of that rule:
“Players that advance to the final round despite not meeting this percentage may also be included in the final standings submitted to the IFPA.”
So if you have an event where all players advance to the finals, then EVERYONE meets the rules the IFPA requires to be submitted in the final standings.
Only players that DON’T MAKE FINALS, and play less than 50% of the qualifying activity get removed from the standings submitted into us.
So if there are no league finals, should everyone that played in the league at all get included in the final standings? The last two seasons we’ve gone with if they play less than half the sessions, then they don’t get included in the final results.
If you don’t have finals, then nobody advances to the finals by playing less than 50%.
The 50% participation rule would apply to your results.
