Flat head screwdriver into one of the slits that the mech slides over. Sounds easy but when you are doing it blind at an awkward angle it gets rather irritating…
Probably old topic, but the skill isn’t the short plunge, it’s hitting the chosen shot once the ball is in play. So whether you short plunge or go all the way around the loop to the flipper, you still have to make the shot.
