Did you happen to get flipper happy and press both flippers to cancel the animations? That’s the only thing I can think of.
Nope - cause this is smart missile anyway, and double flippers shouldn’t do anything to the post in that case.
One of the TRex modes will stop the ball with the post briefly as you complete parts of the mode.
Would be nice to have some indication this is not a smart missle stop, but I’ve grown to mistrust the post due to this
Yeah, I’d bet that it’s caused by some interaction with T-Rex rampage (which briefly stops the ball with the inlane post every 2 L ramp hits to prevent infinitely ski-jumping your way through that mode). It definitely still catches me off guard sometimes. ie, post suddenly stops ball in the middle of a bunch of other stuff going on, I assume it’s smart missile and look up at the screen, I look back down to see the ball draining because it was actually T-Rex Rampage that triggered the post, not a smart missile~
I do seem to recall one instance where the post dropped prematurely (like during a mode start animation or something), but I can’t remember the exact circumstances and haven’t encountered it since.
Sorry if has been addressed and I missed, was wondering if anyone knew if the t-rex timer addition perk applied to the 2x playfield timer? Wishful thinking as my guess is it does not?

Sorry if these have already been answered, but I had a couple questions.
Is it possible to get a fossil from the supply drop? I was not aware of the wildcard fossils until reading this, but was pretty sure I got one from supply drop yesterday. I also had a question about the smart missile. I’ve been experimenting with taking the all left path to the visitors center and whenever I’d light the missile I would hit the truck to get it out of the way and the smart missile would unlight. Is this normal? I don’t recall it working like that before, but I’d usually catch the ankylo on the way. Maybe a hidden perk of her? TIA!
I believe you can’t get a fossil from a supply drop. The only ways to get a fossil are, beating a t-rex mode, beating control room modes, getting super jackpots in raptor and chaos mb, beating secure control room, beating visiter center, beating museum mayhem, certain number of tower shots, and a fossil can be a smart missile award. When ever you have the smart missile lit on the left inlane, and you shoot the truck, the light will change to the right inlane in which when you go through it, activates Super Spinner. Hope this answers your questions.

Maybe you made the 6-way combo without trying? Happened to me a few times.

@sk8ball Can you share any info on the topper mode? Is it an actual in game mode?
For $600 it should be an entire ruleset.
I give it max seven days from shipping before someone has hacked together something to fool your game into thinking the topper is installed.
Is there a bug that collects a wildcard fossil at 24 rescues? I couldn’t figure out why I got a fossil when I collected my 24th rescue (it was on a tower shot, but it wasn’t enough for that wildcard either). Status screen had the ‘collect 30 rescues’ wildcard grayed out.

There might be a bug where the voice call “hit the standups to set the trap” (or similar) happens before you’ve rescued enough workers to light the targets. I noticed it a couple times on super predators.

Your LCD says ‘RESCUE STREAK 25’ implying you hit 25 rescues without a casualty. Impressive! But your total rescues very well could have been 30.
That was actually a perfect run through of the paddocks visited, in the end (34)!
But nah, taken from the same status screen run-through.
Edit: Also, when I collected the 30th rescue, I was not awarded another fossil.
Interesting, definitely looks like a bug of some sort to me. I wonder if the Anky perk that reduces the rescue thresholds for qualifying inlane awards bleeds through and somehow affects the rescue threshold for the wildcard as well…
Here’s what I have after getting the stern topper.
Goat Mania
- Spell out Jurassic Park on Topper with 12 dino captures. Progress carries over even through power cycles.
- Hit supply drop to start Goat Mania
- Each flipper hit counts toward flips and progress is displayed. According to the settings there is a max of 40 flips. I’m not sure how this mode is scored.
I think I hit a bug where my flip count remained for my next plays (see photo below on ball 1 with flip count). I went through the process again and the flip count went away the next play.
