Oh, interesting. The blue lights work fine for mecha. The green lights do not. Wonder what that could be. Thank you, Karl.

I feel like every time I get the Super Secret Skill shot (left spinner lane, one-timer into the scoop), the Ally it gives me is Rodan. Is there any way to change this? At the start of a ball, especially ball one, I’m not really interested in 2x scoring.

Right flipper changes the selection on the PF inserts.

No allies are lit when you plunge/shoot the SSSS. The one you get varies, not sure how it chooses.

Something I’ve wondered for a long time: is there any way to determine which ally will be awarded? More importantly, if there is, does flipping the right flipper invisibly change it?

Ally from skill shot is random (not influenced by flipper). In competition mode, it is always Mothra.

Once you’ve completed all the 1st and 2nd tier modes and gone through Planet X: you’re basically locked out besides multiball and tanks, yeah? Nothing I’m missing here?

You can still get terror of mechagodzilla for now. You’ll be able to do the other mini wizard and the final wizard later.

It sure looks to be shaping up to be a Wizard Mode ends game kind of situation here.

My least favorite feature in pinball. Never like it when a game does that.

also per IFPA rules that is not covered at all / at the very least make force the game to be graded as only 1 ball.

This is my one gripe with Avengers Infinity Quest, after Trophy Mania you’re basically locked out of anything else. You can keep going for multiballs but not for the majority of the game’s features.

Honestly, I understand/appreciate the approach of focusing more on getting a lot out of modes leading up to the finale, instead of the game just essentially resetting to the beginning after the wizard mode. I’ve been maxing out my score around 3.5 bill by just kind of lazily playing through the modes and doing well in Planet X. Time to get to work…

I just want the game to last forever if I’m skilled enough for that to happen.

Agreed. I’m a fan of low cost rules like 2x game-wide scoring after the game ā€œresetsā€.

Interesting, I find it to be a very interesting concept. I’d probably like it a lot less on a game where the wizard mode is quite achievable. But on Jurassic Park, I feel like by the time you get to Escape Nublar you’ve had enough.

But I totally get the other side of it as well.

I guess it’s my competitive nature. I don’t want to play a game where we can essentially tie. Haha

Pff… I’m more competitive than you!
