Wouldn’t tanks allow it to be used? I did have a game where it wasn’t available and then was when Jets started so that might be it.
Do you really want to use a heat ray to collect tanks?

Not really, but it seems like it should stay charged, or at least give an indication that is ready. As it is now, it seems like you earned it and then it’s not there, just confusing.
I learned last night that heat ray doesn’t collect a qualified saucer hit
If heat ray insert is flashing you have earned it and it is banked. When lock bar button flashes it means you can use it (mode or multiball running)

Thanks for clarifying.
Any tips out there for making the game more loopable? I think I’ve maybe hit two in a row a handful of times. Whether its the speed or the feed, it’s nearly impossible to get real good looping done on my machine. I do play kinda steep (maybe 6.8 or so? Bubble is centered on top line), I guess, so is it just that?
Try turning down upper flipper strength? The lower it is set the easier to loop

I had a hell of a time looping for about 100 games and then it settled down, I can usually get 3-4 no problem and have had 8+ several times.
yah, I had considered it. I usually like to leave the game as stock as possible to play it as…ahem…the designer intended. I’ll probably fiddle.
Unfortunately the designer has to design to a neglected location game. A home use clean game the flippers will be on the strong side. That’s why those adjustments are there

Anyone figured out how to get the 3x Super Jackpot during Godzilla MB? I assume it has to do with getting really deep into the multiball but I’ve only ever gotten single Super Jackpots and the 2x from shooting the reverse building.
Given that the jackpot arrows turn off after 5x at a red arrow, I’ll wager that you need to collect all the 5x’s? I got close on my last game, only had left ramp and loop at 3/4x. Anyone actually collected them all during a mb?
