Doesnāt it count as a view for any amount of watch time? If not, thatās wild.
It is something like 30 seconds counts as a view.

@umbilico I havenāt seen many new events annotated in a while. I wouldnāt mind adding timestamps and players in my free time if youāre looking for more help. Iām a software engineer by day so Iāve got a little web dev experience.

@KalgogSmash @CaptainBZarre somewhat related Iām putting finishing touches on a feature to link youtube videos to Match Play tournament games. Videos are then displayed in various parts of the Match Play universe. And of course it uses the same data model as pinballvideos.com so all submissions can be automatically imported over there.

Sorry for the late reply, @KalgogSmash and @CaptainBZarre, I used to get notified when somebody posted in this thread, but apparently Iām not anymore.
In the past, I used to give out accounts to the pinballvideos admin panel very sparingly, to people I felt I could trust and who would be willing to help out for more than just a couple of videos. We had a task tracker to coordinate the work and everything.
That worked well while it worked, and not so well whenever my volunteers inevitably lost interest after a while.
Iām switching this up in two ways now:
- Iām giving out accounts to everybody whoās interested in adding videos and doesnāt have a username like iwanttodeletethepinballvideosdatabase.
- Iām currently putting more dev work into pinballvideos than I have in many years. The plan ist to add content with minimal human interaction, and Iām getting close.
But in the meantime, Iām grateful for the help, please send me your email address in a PM, and Iāll add an account for you.

I emailed you a couple of months ago about importing videos submitted on Match Play into pinballvideos.com. Iāve had video submissions in the MP interface for a couple of months now and thereās been almost 1,500 game videos submitted in that short time. You may get the most bang-for-buck by importing the MP submissions!
