Mobile Camera Rig: Plans and Materials

I’ve switch from cheap disruptive power banks to professional non-disruptive power with Core SWX Snap Extreme. I recently did a video on this.

I use a Viltrox lights for the playfield at 80%/4200K and a tiny dim filler for the player with a Logitech Litra Glow. You can power the Viltrox with a 12V barrel to USB-PD cable and the Logitech runs on 5V (it has a USB-C socket).

For mics I use 3 x Rode VideoMicro II plugged into a mini-mixer. If your camera doesn’t support setting the mic-input to line-level you’ll need a line-to-mic attenuation cable.

Anyone of you using ndi as video stream. Also Bird Dog got some neat cameras.

Since TILT forums is shutting down, I posted a migration path in the other streaming thread.

I’m about to embark on this pinball streaming journey. Is tnutz the way to go now because of the cost? BOMing out at 8020 today and it’s about ~$900 USD shipped to California. TNUTZ is about ~$400 using the super mobile version Karl listed out here: Wireless Pinball Rig v3 - Google Sheets
