Wow… youth getting it done! Glad to see Jared making it deep. Great player who hasn’t won big yet.

Anyone know when the final will be streamed?

Supposedly 10am Central iepinball.

Great decision to keep the Stuck ball hall of fame game in the mix. Game so far 1hour ball 1, many stuck balls behind flipper. Also looks like upper pf extra post was left in to making drains from upper pf harder. Perhaps take that out for tourneys also.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Trent, Fred, Deborah, Karl and everyone else who helped on the Flipout Expo I loved it! Great format and enjoyed it even though I played terrible!

I had a blast too. My only gripe (Trent seems to have adjustments in mind for next year), is we shouldn’t have to wait for the power 100.

I think this should be done on a different day, not done at all, or find a way to do it but not have matches held up at Flip Out, or make the players choose one or the other.

Thanks again to everyone that helped run it. It takes a lot of people and it isn’t easy.

adding my thanks as well! I don’t get to play in many major tournaments like this one. I have a newfound appreciation for you all who commit to these tournaments it takes STAMINA. I had a really good time, it felt well organized and the sportsmanship/etiquette was fantastic with the people I played with in B-Division. Selfishly I would’ve liked to have the streaming capturing earlier than finals so I could perchance take a look at my past gameplay to relive victories and/or mistakes but thank Karl for being there and providing a really cool vibe to the entire Pin Lounge at Expo.

I met quite a few folks who attended Expo for the first time and I kept saying “you picked a good year to come!” miles better than the hallway…

I also really liked the High Score challenge for Elvira they did on the stage. Very cool idea and quite literally elevated the game of pinball for me and I think others.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

What were the details on that…how did it work?

basically a rapid high score challenge with the top 10(?) scored displayed in the center screen with two Elvira machines flanked on either side. At the end of the designated time (3 hours?) they announced the top high score score winner. they got some kind of prize I think a t-shirt.

To give a shout out to my pal Stan who won, and to humblebrag for myself and the other Chicago folks, here’s the final four of lowly B division!

1st was Stan Sowa, 2nd me, 3rd John Hegele (out of SC?), and 4th Rebecca Hinsdale, Rebecca and I were neck and neck w/ me edging out for win bounty at 11 or 12
