At this point in time I am pretty close to narrowing it down to five games currently at six and will hopefully tell you what they can teach and the different styles:
- Dealer’s Choice - gets a bad rap but I love it because it teaches you to aim the shots to roll over the lights and make a “blackout” to open the bonuses. The bottom extra flippers teach you self control to not flip wildly so you learn not to let the ball fall between the flippers. Game is in the style I grew up with so it is nostalgia for me.
- Klondike - teaches you patience and control to try to get the center slot machine reels lined up so you can get free games/extra balls. Not an easy thing. I had also a Gold Rush (4 player version) but it wasn’t getting a lot of play so sold that and made some money on it.
- Time Machine and Torpedo Alley - I love Data East games and they force you to learn how to make shots and watch your time - plus they are just plain fun/entertaining.
- Hot Wheels - Many different modes to learn and practice skill shots on.
- Godzilla - same thing.
