The new Insider Connected program is all well and good, but when are we going to see conversion kits for the old Solid State games? </ sarcasm>
The rarest achievement across the platform will be lighting all five stars on Stars in a single ball.

Scorbit does exactly this now!
One thing that would be cool would be for Stern to add is an add to wallet function on the website so you can add to Apple Wallet.
and pay apples cut?
hell yes!
Half dozen games with code updates today for insider connected
Interesting that Insider Connected changes rules in games now. This is pretty bad for tournaments.
Yay, code dropped for IC games yet can’t get IC kits so….
I checked the readmes, and it seems like there are only two games where signing into Insider Connected affects the rules.
For TMNT, logging in allows you to retain training progress between games:
Jurassic Park starts the formerly topper-exclusive Goat Mania mode after getting 5 Super Supply Drops if you’ve signed in. (Oddly, Avengers’ Gem Mania mode is still locked to its own topper - the only change the most recent update made was disabling it in competition mode.)
Maiden Pro also gives Can I Play With Madness. Arguably, not a scoring advantage over pro rules, unless you very talented.
I hope our friendly Stern tournament player (@raydaypinball) can get us a “off” option by default if “tournament mode” is selected/installed
competition mode really needs to trun off stuff like this or maybe even force on for all players for X time even if they are not logged in.
and NO WAY CAN ADD PAID ONLY MODES (UNLESS AT THE FULL game OPS level and can work with no network)
Now what happens with the modes if there is an mid game network drop out?
They do, at the bottom it says “Training level will be 1 during competition play.
Even if you lose connection mid match, it’s already(I assume)pre loaded in there so it shouldn’t be an issue.
It says that for TMNT, but for for JP and Maiden?
Isn’t the simple ‘off’ just not allowing players to sign in? Maybe a piece of paper taped over the QR reader?
At this point anyway, shouldn’t IC be completely separated from competitive play? Or am I missing something?
The IM mode is on Prem/LE so I assume the same rules would apply? Same with JP in tournaments? I haven’t seen them really so I couldn’t confirm or deny.
I’m going to take a wild guess and say these new updates are not going to ruin stern games for tournaments considering who makes them.
Seems like the simple answer is, if one player signs in, all players for that game play the same insider connected rules.
Don’t know if this is useful for anyone, but I created an iOS shortcut that quickly pulls up my (and family) QR codes. Can be placed on home screen as an app and it’s immediate (faster than even adding Insider Connected as a home screen “app”).
Just need to take a screenshot of your QR code, place it in an album, install this shortcut, adjust album name to match yours, then add to Home Screen:

I cannot get my GZ LE to say it is online despite my connection test working fine. It won’t let me sign in to my profile. It also thought my game was up to date despite running 0.79 code. Is anyone else having this issue? I’m run wireless with google fiber.
