Playing out of turn on an unallowable extra ball

I’m arguing that the TD should in fact make that call the same way they make the call of how much benefit is too much, ie “how much is too much interference.” So I’d be fine with having the TD decide how much interference is too much since we are solving for an honest mistake on both sides.

But, at the end of the day, I think I’m overthinking it. It’s within P2’s control, and as @sk8ball said, it isn’t that hard to do. Anyway, thanks to everyone for taking the time to explain the reasoning.

I don’t want to make that call, ever. Because every time, and I mean every time, the player will try to argue their case. It’s not worth it, not to me anyway

But like I said, totally fine with relaxing this and many other rules in a low-stakes event with a lot of casual or arcade players.

Thanks for talking about it!

No way . . . you get Lefkoff to argue it for you!

I’m pretty certain you don’t want me representing your case at Pinburgh! LOL

Do you know if I can put him on retainer? I don’t want him to be representing the other guy during my stuck ball issues to come.

Unless perhaps the clients name is Escher…

Updated for current events… (Sorry, Andy)

Was so brutal to watch. I was screaming at the projector.
