New York City Pinball Championships Proudly Joins the Stern Pro Circuit, adds Two New Tournaments (New York, NY) - The New York City Pinball Championships returns this Fall, bigger, better, and boomier than ever before. The pinball expo and tournaments, to be held October 13-15 at the Five Two A event space in Industry City, Brooklyn, will welcome hundreds of tournament players and pinball fans from across the globe of all skill levels. For the first time, NYCPC is a Stern Pro Circuit event. Main Division tournament players will receive Circuit ranking points toward eligibility for the Stern Pro Circuit Finals, as well as an astonishing 300% WPPR pinball ranking point boost; based upon 2022 results, that’s an approximately 192 WPPR payout for the winner - a formula ensuring excitement, drama, and the attendance of the world’s top pinball athletes.

The Classics Division will also have a gaudy ranking point value, with a 160% TGP * 150% Certified+ formula bringing an approximated 142 succulent, juicy WPPRS to the card of the winning player.

NEW for 2023, NYCPC will also host a Novice Division finals, and the “Another Bite at the Big Apple” Sunday strikes tournament. This high WPPR-value strikes tournament will be limited to approximately 80 slots, with priority given to players who bought their NYCPC tickets the earliest. Put simply, to secure your potential spot in this tournament, buy your tickets as early as possible. Registration for the Sunday Strikes tournament will take place on-site on Sunday morning. As always, NYCPC is also proud to offer the Dahlia Rowan Memorial Women’s NYC Championship tournament.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, May 20, at 12 pm EST. Visit the NYCPC web site at for links, registration for ticket sales, and information about the tournaments, venue, the neighborhood, and nearby lodging options.

The marks the second consecutive year NYCPC is being held at the Industry City space, which can accommodate up to 500 silverball enthusiasts, features over 10,000 square feet and stunning unobstructed views of the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan, hosted by the historic and massive Industry City campus featuring dozens of local food and shopping options catering to all tastes.

“For elite level, championship pinball the weekend of October 13-15, there’s simply only one place to be; NYC and the New York City Pinball Championships,” said Never Beef Productions co-founder Levi Nayman. “We expect the best players in the world to be in attendance, battling it out to harvest a trove of big money payouts, an obscene haul of WPPR ranking points, and the opportunity to win the respect and prestige that comes only with being crowned New York City Pinball Champion. If only there was an appropriate word to describe a correction of this magnitude…

Let me consult my thesaurus and see what I can come up with…

Original post edited to reflect this boomy development.

We have room for 400 in the tournament and we don’t anticipate that selling out, but the new 3 strikes matchplay tournament is going to be limited to how many games we have available.

Can’t wait for this. First NYCPC!

The second correction can be the dates at the bottom of the announcement.

that is potentially a lot of people, what size is the main bank? INDISC like?

Yeah, we aim for 20 games in the main bank. Lines were never an issue last year, as we have plenty of games in all banks. I don’t remember queues getting more than 4-5 deep for anything all weekend (at its busiest) and classics were often walk-ons.

More games equals more pumping and especially more dumping; all of which we want.

(New York, NY) - In a move to improve the NYCPC player experience, provide a more central location, and aid in the acquisition of higher-quality tournament games, Never Beef Productions is changing venues, and has secured an amazing new tournament space for the New York City Pinball Championships 2023; the Stern Pro Circuit event pinball tournament is returning to its Manhattan roots and will now be held at the West Side Pinball Pop Up at 525 West 26th street in Chelsea, Manhattan. The new venue is over 10,000 square feet with multiple floors, terraces, and a massive outdoor patio. The space can accommodate up to 500 people. The event space was formerly used as a high-end luxury gym, but come this fall, it will be the site of high-end pinball competition!
