The inaugural Kiwi Capital Silver Ball
Four days of pinball tournaments across two central Wellington venues, from Thursday July 27th to Sunday 30th.
Ye Olde Pinball Shoppe and Lanes Bar & Bowling are proud to bring a new tournament series to the New Zealand pinball calendar, featuring ladies’ and gents’ pre-ball gatherings on Thursday evening, a main tournament with two days of best-game Herb style qualifying on Friday & Saturday and finals on Sunday, plus Sunday casual comps for the non-finalists. $25 entry fee for the main tournament (covers both venues) plus $2 for each of 20 games, so the minimum spend will be $65. Entry fees go towards trophies for the top four finalists and prize money for the top eight. Games will be mostly modern Insider Connected Stern titles and some DMD favourites. A special Stern Insider virtual badge will be awarded to participants in the main tournament who log in with Insider Connected during qualifying or finals.

Multiball Maidens, our monthly 3-strikes comp for women & gender diverse players, 6pm at YOPS. Free entry, $2 per game

Guys’ social at Lanes. Free entry, $2 per game
Friday July 28th:
- Qualifying for the main tournament begins, $25 entry, $2 per game.
10am to 10pm Herb style qualifying at both venues
Saturday 29th:
- 10am to 10pm qualifying continues at both venues
Sunday 30th:
- 11am Finals at YOPS for the top 32 qualifiers. PAPA style match play with 3 games per round. Estimated 3pm finish. Tokens provided.
- 11am to late: casual comps at Lanes (Flip Frenzy, Stall Ball, Split Flipper, etc). $25 entry payable on the day, with the games on freeplay.
