Game still looks pretty tight though. Watching Jack stream it right now.

Edit: Love it. I like how it shows how many shots you have left and the sound package kicks ass.

I saw the songs listed at the bottom above the flippers and my disappointment was immeasurable when I noticed Number Of The Beast wasn’t included. That was quickly reversed when I saw that it was the wizard mode. Super glad Stern opted for a more adult theme for once, without going porno-light like with Big Juicy Melons, which ironically was the most juvenile theme in recent memory… or possibly ever.

I would guess it couldn’t be archived because the maiden tracks in the background would flag it for copyright infringement

Game looks absolutely awesome. Love the layout and rules. Theme not so hot for me, but it wouldn’t put me off at all given the strength of gameplay. Well done. Killer debut

I didn’t have the opportunity to watch the stream, but judging by the C2C-interview the ruleset seemed to have fresh and interesting ideas too.
Looking forward to try this one!

EDIT: My suggestion for abbreviation is simply: Irma.

What’s the obsession with abreviations? Is just saying Maiden that hard? Saving yourself 2 characters of typing?

I don’t really listen to Maiden any more, but this game looked absolutely fabulous on the reveal. And loved that Keith walked through the basics for us. Only negative is I didn’t really like the animations/graphics on the display. But the game itself looks great.

“Eddie” wouldn’t be a bad abbreviation if one insists, but “Maiden” works just as fine. Call the classic Stern game “Iron Maiden” and keep new Stern Iron Man “IM”.
