Is there a way, after all names have been entered and you do a random draw for partners, to do a redraw without having to re-enter all the names again. The purpose of this is to avoid having overly strong people placed together in a tournament without having to power draw the format. In this case when you have 7 Power players and 15 under power players, but not allowing for two power players to partner.
The simplest thing I can think of is to hold the “power players” out separately and draw a random non-power partner for each of them one by one, then do normal random partner draws for the remainder. That gives each non-power player the same chance of being randomly paired with a power player.
I’m not sure what “power draw the format” means but you could place the top half (or all your “power players”) into different teams, then random draw the rest.
