I’ll add to your hotel suggestions. There are probably 20 hotels near I-40 at the Meridian Avenue exit, just 12 minutes away. Both the Baymont and Sleep Inns were inexpensive yet good quality; the Hilton Garden Inn you list is here, too. Lots of places to eat nearby. I’d suggest people go to Hotels.com and look in this area; you can find really good for around $100 and reasonably good for under $60. Quite affordable, especially if you split it with somebody.
Do not stay at the Biltmore, no matter how tempting the price.

This tournament was so much fun last year. Shawn is an excellent TD and CJ’s is a pretty awesome venue. Looking forward to coming back this year!
agree - fun tournament with a good mix of games (you know you wanna play some TX-Sector!) and really fun location and mix of people. Met some really nice folks and had a blast going. Feel like it might grow a bunch this year. Shawn does a really good job with this fun tourney and if you love match play this is for you.

Hey @alveolus, do you announce the games ahead of time? I can’t remember if this happened last year, but I know quite a few games got brought in that don’t normally live at Cactus Jacks.
I’m still in the process of playtesting and game selection. And yes we do bring in several outside games as CJs is still light on early SS and EMs.
Some of the outside machines are still in limbo and could change at the last minute, but I can probably give a tentative list in another week or so.

I’ve heard great things about your tournament from some of the Colorado players and I look forward to seeing your game selection. My SS and EM experience is still a little light so I love the chance to read up on any game that’s new to me. See you in OKC!
