Buffalo Pinball Summer Open '18 - Delivered by Domino's

How late did the finals go last year?

We wrapped up around 6 p.m. last year if memory serves…

Cool thanks. I’m gonna book my flight like a winner!

That shirt you had last year with the dude carrying the gas cans away from the burning pinball machines was dope.

The graphics on the site are just a quick mock-up, we can make the logo the same size as the play angry shirt no problem

We are pleased to announce that we are bringing sponsors onboard for the Buffalo Pinball Summer Open. Thanks to Comet Pinball and Pin Stadium, we are now able to offer a prize pool for the top three “B” and “C” players in the main tournament. Here’s how it will work: there’s still one main tournament that everyone will play in. Players who are ranked 500-999 are considered “B” players. Players ranked 1,000+ are considered “C.” The top three players in both “B” and “C” that do not make the playoffs for the main tournament will receive money from this prize pool. Thanks again to Comet Pinball and Pin Stadium!

Will the B and C divisions have playoffs as well or will it just be the top 3 players after qualifying getting prizes?

Regardless, nice addition!

No playoffs for B or C divisions, only A. Thanks to Comet and Pin Stadium for making this possible!

More pinball, less waiting: To make this the best Buffalo Pinball Summer Open yet, we’re increasing the number of tournament games!

The main tournament will now have 12 games (up from 10), and both classics tournaments will have eight games each (up from six). This will reduce the amount of time waiting for a game, while increasing the amount of money in the prize pool. #PinballMath

How many games from main and classics banks count towards your ranking?

That remains unchanged from last year: 5 games count in main and 4 in classics.

Ugh. 5 out of 12 means you’ll need even better scores to qualify. I know, play better!

LAST CHANCE! Preregister by tomorrow and receive five free entries to the Buffalo Pinball Summer Open 2018, the next event on the Stern Pro Circuit. (After July 31, you’ll be able to register at the door but won’t get the complimentary tournament entries.)

Cure your Pinburgh hangover with some yacht club pinball, Aug. 17-19 at the Sandy Beach Yacht Club on Grand Island, NY. The event features four tournaments (main, two classics and women’s), is open to players of all skill levels and there’s no limit to the number of players. Hope to see you there!

Rumor has it that Brian Dye is coming out of retirement at the Buffalo tournament. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
