2017-2018 PAPA Circuit Events

Not this year. But I would really like to come check it out!

(I really wasn’t sure who would get that. “Are you going too obscure?” I asked myself. “PUSH THE BUTTON,” came the reply.)

That’s only 16 minutes away from the (ex-)PAPA facility.

BUCS [Bob’s Unofficial Circuit Standings] through Pittsburgh Pinball Open, with WPPR-based rankings attached. The overlap continues to be good. The highest WPPR-ranked person not in the current top 40 is Luke Nahorniak at 27th by WPPRs and 57th in circuit points.

Note that Trent’s total is limited to his best 10 circuit results; he has now pointed in 11 events.

The latest update saw the most drastic one-time rise ever in the cut score: from 88 to 116. In the past, the cut score typically rose 6 points on average per event. This time out, with the large amount of duplication of majors points between players present at both Buffalo and Pittsburgh, the cut jumped way up. I expect the final cut to be over 150 points.

i think you did the cle pin points wrong if that’s what you mean by “ohio”

I used Karl’s qualifying and the Challonge for playoffs; still waiting on the official results to post to IFPA to confirm. Will review and correct if needed at that time. Drop me a private msg if there’s something specific you think needs fixing.

Yeah, doesn’t seem right. Your chart shows me with 118 which would’ve been my points before ClePin. I think I should be at 140. Timothy Street should be at 131 I think.

Looks like my link went to the spring Ohio show rather than CLE PIN. I’ll fix it as soon as I get the correct link. Thanks for the catch.

Fixed; see above.

Update for OBX. Nobody new in the top 40! Really.
(Although Chris drops out of the tie for 40th.) Top 7 stay the same, though Trent’s clinched #1 with 875 points and Alex now has 455 points. Movers include FWB now with 298 in 8th, Levi with 289 in 9th, Jon and Timballs now tied for 14th with 224, BMU now 24th with 172. Jason and Fred R added points but maintained their spots at 10th and 19th respectively.
Tim Street at 130 is now the cut. Pete Hendricks (5th at OBX) 41st at 128, OBX runner-up Shannon Stafford 42nd at 120. I’ll check all this after the holiday.

Here’s the updated table, plus the WPPR rankings. Note that most of the WPPR top 40 are also in the Circuit Point top 40:
